Dear Taylor,

SC

by Taylor Hart

My lover and I have been together for ven years. Everything seemed fine beeen us. That is, until recently.

Two weeks ago he moved out of our apartment and into an apartment of his own. He said that he needs time to be alone. was devastated!

[

He claims that he is not cheating or geing anyone else, but the other night I saw him in a bar kissing another man!

I feel as if his leaving was my fault, that must have failed to be a good lover to him Some way. Maybe I could have done more

make him happy. How can I get him to

"give me and come back to our home?

Broken Heart

Dear Broken Heart. Stop blaming yourself for your lover's oving out and for his infidelity. No matter "hat the situation was between the two of ou, you deserve much better treatment han what you have been recently receiving rom him. Not only was he unfaithful, but lied about it as well! No one deserves to be treated so badly! Your lover's moving out and kissing another man is absolutely not your fault!

If your lover was, in some way, unhappy, · could have chosen to discuss it with you. could have tried to find some sort of solution. Instead, he chose to be secretive ind unfaithful. If he felt that a resolution as not possible, or if he just didn't desire inding some sort of resolution, he could have explained this to you. In my opinion,

his recent behavior leaves much to be desired.

If you both want to save your relationship, I strongly recommend counseling. If he is not interested in saving and re-establishing your relationship, then it may be time for you to tell him good-bye. It is time to mend your broken heart, one way or another.

Dear Taylor,

I am very attracted to a woman who lives in my apartment building. Her lover died about a year ago from a stroke. I am tempted to ask her out, but I don't know if it would be appropriate to ask so soon after her lover's death. What do you think?

Dear Jill,

Jill

It is perfectly acceptable to ask someone out a year after the death of their significant other. She may choose not to accept your invitation, but your asking, in my opinion, would not be a violation of proper etiquette or of some moral code. Just getting out and socializing may make coping with her loss a little more bearable. Call or write to her today! Or better yet, ask her out in person! Dear Taylor,

Does a man's nose size reflect the size of his endowment?

Dear J.B.N.,

Just Being Nosey

No. If that were true, then the man I saw last night would need a nose job. I wonder who starts these myths?
